July 2018 – California State Fair
At the 2018 California State Fair Marisa won an Award of Merit and $50 cash prize for her piece De-Stress. She also won Third Place for her metal and glass piece Horse.
July 2017 – California State Fair
At the 2017 California State Fair Marisa won:
- Best of Division in Glass
- First Place for best Glass Piece
- Clay and Glass Artists Award (and $100) for Outstanding Glass Entry
June 2017 – Instructor at The Crucible in Oakland, California.
Marisa began teaching glass work at The Crucible, a non-profit arts education organization serving the Bay Area.
